Frickley Athletic out for revenge against Rushall Olympic

FRICKLEY Athletic boss Karl Rose says his side owe Rushall Olympic a bit of revenge when the sides meet at Westfield Lane on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

Frickley lost the reverse Evo-Stik Premier League match 1-0 in September - a match Rose believes his men should have taken more from.

He will be looking for no less than three points in South Elmsall this weekend to get his side’s home form off to a flying start in 2013.

“We felt very aggrieved when we played them down there,” he said.

“We lost 1-0 there and we thought there was a bit of an injustice because we should have won and they nicked it with probably the only shot they had on goal all match.”

He continued: “We want to get on another good run at home as well after the defeat against Ferriby.

“We beat Kendal and now we want to make it back-to-back home victories.”

Frickley fell to a 4-1 defeat at Whitby Town on New Year’s Day and will be out to bounce back and chalk up their first three points of 2013.
