FRICKLEY Athletic boss Peter Rinkcavage will hope his men can hit the target when they travel to North Ferriby United in the Evo-Stik Premier Division tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

Rinkcavage has bemoaned his side’s lack of firepower in recent weeks and is actively looking to add some more experience to his young strikeforce following an injury to Ollie Ryan.

The Blues created plenty of chances to get something from Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat against Ashton United but again failed to find the back of the net.

It’s a worrying trend for Frickley fans and one Rinkcavage, and his men, will be hoping to put right tonight at North Ferriby.

The South Elmsall side have failed to win since their opening day victory over Burscough at the Tech5 Stadium but Ferriby have had mixed fortunes from their opening seven games.

Their home form is decent though, having won two and lost one of their three home games so far this term, and they’ll be looking to make that three wins tonight against a Frickley side that have drawn two and lost one of their three away games.
