Four Featherstone Rovers under 20s players have been banned following a 49th minute punch up in the 54-18 win over Halifax in last month’s final pre-season match.

Featherstone’s Lewis Jones was suspended for eight matches after he was found guilty of committing a grade F violent punching off the bench offence while team-mate Bradley Knowles was banned for five games for a grade D, sustained punching offence.

Joe Fox (two games) and Jack Beddis (one game) of Rovers were also suspended after being found guilty of committing grade C and grade B punching offences, respectively.

Halifax’s Lewis Holliday was also banned for eight games after he was found guilty of a Grade E, sustained punching from off the bench offence during the same incident.
