Frickley Athletic have parted company with manager Lee Morris after dropping back into the relegation zone with a disappointing home defeat to fellow Evo-Stik Premier League strugglers Halesowen Town last Saturday.
Former Blues player Morris had been in charge for seven months and initially proved successful after the Blues had lost their first seven league games of the season.
But four successive defeats have left them back fourth from bottom and Morris has been replaced by the man he took over from with Karl Rose back in charge and Lee Stratford as his assistant.
A statement on the Frickley website said today: “We’d like to thank Lee and his staff for their hard work during their time with club and wish them well in the future.
“The Club are urging everyone to get behind the new management team over the next seven games as we aim to move out of the bottom four.”
