After a near whiteout in the Toolstation NCE League on Saturday it is more or less as you were at the top of Division One with Hemsworth MW still one point off the top.

Welfare were due to travel to play leaders AFC Emley with high hopes of extending their unbeaten away record, but the game fell victim to the weather.

However, none of the top five were able to play to so no damage was done and the only team in the top half to make a gain were AFC Mansfield, who beat Teversal 4-1 to move up to sixth, four points behind Hemsworth.

Welfare’s big game at Emley has now been rearranged for Tuesday, March 3 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

This week they face two away games, but have hopes of hitting top spot as they take on Hall Road Rangers on Saturday (3pm), who are currently 14th, and Selby Town next Tuesday (7.45pm), who are in 13th.

In their previous meetings this season Hemsworth beat Hall Road 3-1, but were held to a 1-1 draw by Selby so will be looking to make amends.
