It is make or break time for Frickley Athletic as they travel to play the bottom two teams in the Evo-Stik Premier League in the next week.
Karl Rose’s men are away to Trafford on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) then go to Belper Town next Tuesday (7.45pm) with both games being crucial in their fight to avoid relegation.
The Blues have to see this as their big chance to get clear of trouble as second from bottom Trafford look doomed to the drop and Belper are already confirmed as down after they lost 2-1 to Grantham Town last Saturday.
Athletic have also beaten both teams already this season at home, winning 2-0 against Belper in October and 4-0 against Trafford in November so should travel with some confidence.
Frickley have dropped to fourth from bottom after picking up just one point from their two Easter games, although they do have a game in hand on Stamford, who are one place and one point above them.
Witton Albion, Ramsbottom United and Matlock Town are also still in relegation danger while third from bottom Marine have been on fire in recent weeks after looking certain to go down and it looks like it will go right down to the wire to determine which four teams will occupy the bottom positions.
