Frickley Athletic are back on their travels as they look to extend their little unbeaten run this Saturday.

Karl Rose’s men have won three and drawn one of their last four matches in all competitions and now stand in 11th place in the Evo-Stik Premier League ahead of their game at Hyde United (kick-off 3pm).

A victory would see them leapfrog Saturday’s opponents into the top 10 as Hyde are just one place and one point ahead of the Blues from one match more.

Frickley are also in action next Tuesday when they host Darlington 1883 in the second round of the Integro Doodson League Cup (kick-off 7.45pm).

Manager Rose, meanwhile, has signed North Ferriby United midfielder Ross Armstrong on a dual registration basis from the Vanarama National League North side.

The 24-year-old joined Ferriby in the summer after he impressed last season at Ossett Town. Previously he had been a junior at Hull City before being released and then moving on to play local football before being picked up by Ossett.
