The big games keep coming thick and fast for Frickley Athletic as they follow another important Evo-Stik Premier League game with a county cup semi-final this week.

With their run without a victory being stretched to 10 matches after Tuesday night’s visit to Kings Lynn the fight for league points is really on now, making Saturday’s trip to play Rushall Olympic another important date for the Blues.

Their hosts stand safely in mid-table in tenth place in the Premier so will not be easy opposition, although Frickley did take a point off them in a 1-1 draw at home earlier in the season.

Karl Rose’s men turn their attentions away from their relegation fight and towards their bid to return to Hillsborough for the final of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup next week.

They are up against Handsworth Parramore, of the Northern Counties East League, with the semi-final taking place at Worksop Town’s ground next Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).
