BARNSLEY boss Keith Hill will look to put the disappointment of losing loan ace Danny Drinkwater to bed today with three points against Millwall.

The Reds will look to complete back-to-back Championship victories when the struggling Lions visit Oakwell (kick-off 3pm) - but they’ll have to do it without the Manchester United loan ace.

Drinkwater is all set to complete a permanent move to Leicester City after the Foxes lodged a bid with the Premier League club for the midfielder’s services.

The talented youngster, who only penned a new loan deal with Barnsley at the start of the month, was crucial in Barnsley’s 2-1 win at Leicester last weekend in providing both assists for Andy Gray.

His performance no doubt caught the eye of City boss Nigel Pearson and Leicester’s offer for Drinkwater saw his Oakwell loan stint cut short this week.

Hill and his troops will need to quickly turn their attention to the league clash with Kenny Jackett’s side this afternoon as the Reds look to make it back-to-back league wins.

The Lions sit just one place above the relegation zone following their thumping 6-0 home loss against Birmingham City last weekend, a game which saw Millwall finish with nine men.

They bounced back with the 5-0 victory over Dagenham and Redbridge in the FA Cup in midweek but the Tykes will fancy their chances of victory.
