SOUTH Elmsall pool queen Kelly Fisher will be part of a star-studded line-up that will compete in the 2012 Club WPT World Pool Masters in Poland next month.
The 34-year-old women’s world number one will be the only female competitor in the event, which is the most prestigious competition in 9-Ball pool.
Her invite to compete against such players as Tony Drago and defending champion Ralf Souquet comes on the back of a superb 12 months for Fisher.
She won the China Open Pool Championship in Shanghai recently and is also defending World 9-Ball and 10-ball champion.
Now she’ll get the chance to pit her skills against the best male pool players in the world from 5-7 October in Kielce, Poland.
The draw has already taken place and will see the Elmsall queen of the cues up against Dennis Orcollo, of the Philippines, in her first match.
The players are competing for a $66,000 prize fund from which the winner receives $20,000.
