Upton ARLFC looked back on a successful season when they held their annual presentation night on Saturday.
Trophies were presented by former Upton player and founder club member Steve Spencer along with first team coach Mick Mallinson and secretary Dave Welsh after a tremendous campaign which saw the club lift the Wakefield Cup and win promotion to the Premier Division of the Pennine League with only two league defeats all season.
Achievement awards went to Daz Stevenson and Guy Marley.
Long service awards were presented to Steven Frogatt, Craig Brown and Alan Thomson while one player, Stuart James, played in all 26 games in the season.
Steve Beal was the big individual winner as he took home two trophies as the coaches player of the year and the player of the year decided by the number of man of the matches.
Alex Copcutt received the young player of the year award.
Players’ player of the year award winner was Liam Harnell.
