Castleford Tigers temporary head coach Danny Orr has made two changes to the 19-man squad to face Salford City Reds on Saturday.
Winger Kirk Dixon returns to the squad in the place of Richard Owen while Dan Fleming comes in for Charlie Martin.
Dixon has not featured for the Tigers since the defeat at Hull KR on March 24, but Orr says that he was now over the viral infection that kept him out.
He said: “Kirk has been out for the last five games, but he’s had two full weeks training and is looking strong again so we’re pleased to have him back in the squad.
“We’ve got to build on last week. Although we didn’t get the win we played well and if we can replicate that performance and improve slightly in certain areas we will give ourselves a good chance of victory.
“We’re out of the Challenge Cup and we’re disappointed with that, but it’s back to the league now and we’ve got to aim to climb the table.
“We’ve got a tough game on Saturday. Salford will be wanting to put a few things right at their end as well with a new coach in charge. But, as I probably say every week, if we play to the best of our ability then we will definitely put ourselves in a position to win.
“It will be harder because they have appointed Brian Noble. He’s a great coach, has great experience and I’m sure will be able to put in a little tweak or two in the week he’s had. You usually get that, a new coach comes in and you get off to a winning start, but we are aiming to make sure that doesn’t happen this week.”
