Castleford Tigers stand-off Rangi Chase faces a possible two-match ban after being charged with committing a Grade B reckless strike on Leeds Rhinos full-back Zak Hardaker during Sunday’s Super League match,

Former Featherstone Rovers star Hardaker was concussed after a collision with the Tigers player in the 63rd minute of the fixture at the Wish Communications Stadium, but recovered afterwards and tweeted that he was feeling all right.

Chase was not penalised in the game by referee Tim Roby, but was charged after the incident was viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel,
