Castleford Tigers are holding two fans forums on Thursday evening to allow a discussion on the restructuring of Super League for the 2015 season.

It was announced last week that Super League will be reduced from 14 to 12 teams from the 2015 season after Rugby League’s elite clubs agreed to a key change to the structure of the competition.

The Tigers want to know what supporters think of the change and proposals for further restructure in the division below Super League and to allow as many fans as possible to attend the forums they are holding two at 6-7.30pm and 7.45-9.15pm to explain the situation and listen to fans’ thoughts on the plans.

The Club has thanked those who have already emailed and look forward to welcoming fans at their chosen time in the Wish Communications Suite.

The forums are free, although fans wanting to attend must email info@castigers.com with the subject line ‘Fans Forum’ and the time slot that they will attend so that the club can continue to plan accordingly.

Castleford Tigers’ Twitter account will be Tweeting during the evening so fans who cannot attend can follow the evening. Anyone unable to attend, but who has a question regarding the restructuring can follow and Tweet it to @CTRLFC with the hashtag #CasFF.

Alternatively, if you are not on Twitter but would like to ask a question then ‘Like’ Cas Tigers on Facebook and look out for the Status update on Thursday asking for your questions.

Tigers chief executive Steve Gill said: “We strongly value the opinions of our fans and would like to gauge your thoughts before the next Super League restructuring meeting so that we can present the feelings of the club as a whole.

“Therefore we would like as many fans as possible to attend the forums so that we can listen to everyone and answer any questions that you may have.”
