FRICKLEY Athletic manager Karl Rose will name a strong starting eleven for tonight’s Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup second round date with Worksop Town at Westfield Lane (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Blues will be without the suspended Jimmy Ghaichem and new boy Chris Howarth, who was not registered in time to feature, but Rose is set to name a similar squad to the one that suffered a 1-0 loss at Buxton in the league on Saturday.
“We just haven’t got the squad to change things around,” said Rose.
“We can’t make big changes because we don’t have a big squad so there won’t be many changes from the weekend.”
The Blues boss is also keen to continue his side’s impressive recent home form. Frickley have won their last four matches in South Elmsall in all competitions and have lost just once on home soil in their last seven outings.
“I want to win every game,” he said. “Winning breeds winning and that’s happened in our recent home matches so we want that to continue.”
The match is a repeat of last year’s Hillsborough final, which saw the Tigers lift the cup thanks to a 3-2 victory.
