FRICKLEY Athletic will aim to book their place in the fourth round of the League Cup tonight when they visit to Durham City (kick-off 7.45pm).

A home game against Bradford Park Avenue awaits the winner of the clash at the Esh Stadium and the Blues will be looking to make their long trip to Durham count.

Lee Collings’ men sit mid-table in Evo-Stik Division 1 North after suffering relegation from the Premier Division last season.

But although the Blues may be higher up the football pyramid, City will fancy their chances of progression on home soil.

Peter Rinkcavage’s men will have fresh legs going into the game after seeing their scheduled clash at FC Halifax Town postponed due to a frozen pitch on Saturday.

They take a 4-0 away loss at North Ferriby United into the game and will be keen to get back to winning ways following a mixed run of form since the turn of the year.
