Karl Rose is calling on his Frickley Athletic side to rediscover their top home form ahead of a run of four straight matches at Westfield Lane.

The Blues boss saw his side suffer just their second loss from 13 home games in all competitions as FC United of Manchester left South Elmsall with a 4-2 win on Tuesday night.

The loss has left Frickley looking over their shoulder at the Evo-Stik Premier Division relegation spots and their schedule of four consecutive home matches, starting against Chorley on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) could be crucial.

“Chorley and Grantham are massive games ,” said Rose.

“We want to try and get a run of results together now that will catapult us away from the bottom end of the table.”

The Blues boss is hoping defender Joe Wilcox will be back available for selection following illness, but top-scorer Gavin Allott and Gareth Clayton are both doubts.

Midfielder Danny Walsh could be included after returning from Ossett Town.
