BOSS Billy Heath fielded a strong Frickley team to see off local rivals Pontefract Collieries by the odd goal in five in a friendly match last night.
Goals from Phil Lindley, Lee Morris and Danny Clarke were enough to give the Blues a 3-2 victory against the Northern Counties East League outfit.

The match was organised to give Frickley some much-needed match action after snow and ice caused all of their UniBond Premier Division matches to be postponed over the Christmas and New Year period.

Frickley: Nicklin, Grace, Moody, Walsh, Lindley, Jones, Clarke, Groome, Morris, Towler, White. Substitutes: Hood, Robinson, J. Smith, Pierrepont, Bloor, Bladen.
