POWER failure caused a premature halt to Frickley Athletic's UniBond Premier Division match against Whitby Town last night.
Floodlight failure at half-time during the match at the Tech5 Stadium forced the game to be abandoned with the score at 0-0.
It means the fixtures continue to pile-up for Billy Heath and his men between now and the end of the season.
The Blues were enjoying the best of the exchanges in the first-half as Jonathan Groome, Alistair Benson and Adam Lee all came close to breaking the deadlock.
Chris White also saw appeals for a penalty fall on deaf ears.
The Seasiders did have chances of their own but former Leeds United striker Tony Hackworth twice saw efforts flash wide of Adam Nicklin's goal.
The premature ending means the Blues have to squeeze in 13 league matches between now and the end of the season, on Saturday, April 24.
