SPIRITUALIST CHURCH: The speakers this weekend are Anita Gordon on the Saturday and Ian Doherty on the Sunday with both meetings commencing at 6.30pm.

DISABILITY BADGES: I have been asked to pass on some advice relating to car parking badges for
the disabled. The badges are valid for a three-year period and no reminder is given when their renewal is due. If your badge is out of date you will be given a parking fine, as a local lady discovered when parking in the market car park recently. So do check the expiry date.

FRICKLEY COUNTRY PARK: A new pedestrian, access path to the park has been opened. The path leads from the Elmsall end of the Frickley Athletic car park down to the existing pedestrian entrance. This is a hard core path which avoids the "bog" that has made. It is planned to hold a clean-up session for the banks alongside the new path on April, 26. I should have more details next week but volunteers are needed.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS: The library has a listing of the proposed school holidays for the period from September, 2011 to the summer of 2014. Interested parties are invited to comment and a response form is available from the librarian. The last date for responses is April 30.
