Youngsters at Common Road School in South Kirkby stepped back in time for a lords and ladies week last week.
Deborah Batty, headteacher, said: “The children had been learning about kings and castles, and we had the lords and ladies week to get them involved in history.
“Pupils and staff dressed up for the week, we had a falconry display, and a knight in armour walked the pupils to school one day . We also visited the Royal Armouries in Leeds and Conisbrough Castle near Doncaster.”
Pupils from the school are pictured dressed up for the themed week.
