ONE of Britain’s most famous models turned up in South Elmsall at the weekend to enjoy a hearty Sunday lunch.
The gorgeous Kelly Brook shocked diners as she tucked into a carvery meal at The Barnsley Oak with her family.
Mark Larkin, the owner of the Mill Lane pub, said he and everyone else could not believe their eyes. He was told that the model’s uncle lives in South Elmsall.
He said: “At first I thought it was a look-a-like but I asked one of the people she was with and he said it was his niece and it was the real Kelly Brook.
“I was gobsmacked. It is just something that doesn’t happen everyday.”
He said all of the staff were really giddy to meet her and that she was a lovely woman.
He said: “She queued up for the carvery like everyone else and was a really down-to-earth lass.
“And of course, she was absolutely stunning, and looked so much younger than she looks in films or on the television.”
Kelly Brook’s modelling career began at 16 after she won a beauty competition that her mother had entered her into.
She later worked on a range of advertising campaigns for Fosters Lager, Renault Megane, Walkers crisps, Piz Buin and Bravissimo,
She also worked alongside Johnny Vaughan on The Big Breakfast in 1999.
Since then she has starred in reality television programme Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s Got Talent and Skins.
She has also been a star of the big screen with appearances including The Italian Job, Piranha 3D, and most recently, Removal.
