I WOULD like to say a huge thank you to the Travellers Inn, South Kirby, who raised £2,800 from their annual fundraiser for The Prince of Wales Hospice.
Trav Fest was held on July 3. It was a huge success as local bands such as Monkey Dust, Sonic, Racketeers, Four Old Farts, Go Commando, Stickleback, Shack That and Top Gun all performed to help raise money for the Prince of Wales Hospice. It is an annual event and was just as successful this year as ever.
The event ran from noon to 8pm with all proceeds from ticket sales going to the hospice. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making this an extra special event, from all of us at the hospice. Staff and customers of the Travellers Inn did such an amazing job.
We really appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into it and the money raised will make such a difference for patient care.’
