Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of causing thousands of pounds worth of damage at a junior football club.

A kitchen and container belonging to South Kirkby Reds was trashed in a £4,000 wrecking spree last month.

Insp Geoff Carter, of South East neighbourhood police team (NPT), said two 16-year-old boys had been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
