A TEENAGER from Upton has been killed in a road traffic collision.
Imogen Young, 15, was involved in a collision with a Landrover at the Station Road junction of the A628 Pontefract Road in Ackworth.
She was taken to Pinderfields Hospital and later transferred to Leeds General Infirmary, where she died as a result of her injuries.
The incident happened at 4.15pm on Monday, October 10.
Floral tributes have been left close to the scene of the incident.
Several groups on social networking site Facebook have also been set up to remember young Imogen.
On one page, called ‘Imogen Young - the superstar the world never saw’, family and friends posted videos of the teenager singing and images of her laughing and joking around.
Jay Bentham wrote: “Imogen you were a star, you will be missed loads, we all love you, goodbye.”
Carol Cookman wrote: “You were a pleasure to know, but sadly your life cut too short, your memories will always live long within our hearts. God bless sleep tight.”
It is believed Imogen was a keen singer and had posted videos of herself performing on YouTube. Tributes were also left alongside the videos.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
