Two youngsters have bagged a big prize in a supermarket art competition.
Millie Darcie Dixon, 10, and Levi Felstead, nine, came up with a winning bag design to promote Tesco’s new Click and Collect online grocery shopping service.
Millie, from St Helen’s C of E Primary School in Hemsworth, and Levi, from Northfield Primary School in South Kirkby, won £250 for their schools and a £25 Tesco giftcard each.
The competition was organised by Hemsworth Tesco and the tesco.com team to promote the new service, which allows shoppers to order groceries online and pick them up in the Market Street store’s car park without having to leave their vehicle.
The children’s design will now be printed on hundreds of reusable jute bags, which will be given out to pupils and parents at both schools.
The youngsters - along with classmates and family members - visited the collection unit to pick up their prizes.
