A HIGH value car that was taken from criminals under the Proceeds of Crime Act will go on display in Hemsworth.
Police will be visiting Tesco to give residents the chance to raise concerns about anti-social behaviour or crime-related issues.
They will display a Range Rover that was taken under powers police have to seize possessions or cash from criminals who have made money illegally.
Insp Jackie Turton, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “It is a great opportunity for local people to see assets we have seized.
“We will take firm action against those people suspected of living off the proceeds of crimes they have committed in local communities.
“We always act on information given to us by our communities and I would appeal to residents to continue to contact us.
“If you suspect someone is making a living from crime, let us know, you can be confident that we will act on the information given.”
The event takes place on March 17, from 9am.
