Muscle man Maurice ‘Moz’ Felstead flexed his pecs against the top amateur bodybuilders in the world in a prestigious competition.
Mr Felstead, 45, fought off competition from 19 other bodybuilders from 14 different countries in the over-40s category of National Amateur Body-Building Association’s (NABBA) Mr Universe competition in Southport.
He qualified for the event after winning the Mr Britain title in May.
Competitors are judged on their symmetry, proportions and the size and clarity of each muscle group.
Mr Felstead, who also holds the titles Mr North East, Mr Yorkshire, Mr UK and Mr England, said: “The standard of competition was excellent. In the top six alone there were the champions of Italy, Austria, Germany and Australasia.
“I placed fourth in the end, which is in no way disappointing. Obviously it would have been great to win, but I was delighted to place so high among such stellar competition.”
