More to come from Rangi, says Castleford coach

Rangi Chase had Castleford Tigers supporters singing his name again during an impressive display at Hull - and licking their lips at the prospect of more to come from the returning half-back.

Chase admitted he found it tough and was still getting his fitness up to full level, but he played a key part in two of the tries in the 30-16 victory and pushed Luke Dorn close for the Sky man of the match.

It is early days for Chase on his return to the club as he aims to win himself a more long term deal, but head coach Daryl Powell was pleased with his efforts at Hull and the way he is fitting back into the Castleford team.

He said: “He is still finding his feet and building relationships with players on the outside of him, but there were some nice bits in there.

“He is also building relationships with players on the inside and obviously a key one with Luke Gale and Luke Dorn.

“He’s building those all the time and he’s finding a way into the team with the way that he plays.

“There’s a real good balance there and he’s showing some nice touches. He’s only going to get better the more he is in the team.”
