MOTIVATIONAL business woman Claire Young gave an inspiring speech at a school.
Miss Young, who finished runner-up in the 2008 series of the BBC’s Apprentice gave the talk at Minsthorpe Community College last Thursday.
The businesswoman spoke about her experience on the show, her business and how to stand out from the crowd when looking for jobs.
Assistant cross curriculum team leader at the school Craig Walton said: “It was superb. The students responded really well and some have already asked me for more information.
“It really was fantastic and I hope that the students take something from it.”
The talk was part of the students Learning for Life topic.
Miss Young spoke to year 10, 11 and post-16 students at the school and also took questions from the budding entrepreneurs during her visit.
Mr Walton added: “The sessions were very interactive and Clare was very motivational.
“Some of the students have already said how good it was and asked some really interesting questions.
“I would just like to thank Claire for coming in and hope that all of the students find it as good as I did.”
