South Elmsall houses approved despite objections

PLANS to build more than 70 homes in South Elmsall have been approved despite more than 100 objections.

Wakefield Council’s planning committee gave the go ahead for 71 new houses to be built just off Broad Lane, South Elmsall at a meeting last Thursday.

A spokesperson for developer Gleeson Homes said the work would start as soon as possible.
