Police seize drugs haul after two raids
POLICE have seized a quantity of class A drugs after two raids in South Elmsall.
Officers from South Kirkby NPT found a quantity of what was believed to be cocaine after raiding a house on South Avenue last Thursday.
Two occupants from the address were arrested for possession with intent to supply and have been bailed pending further forensic enquiries.
In a seperate raid at an unspecified South Elmsall address on February 25 two people were arrested for possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and are currently on police bail.
The police said they appreciated the help of members of the public who contacted Crimestoppers with the information leading to this raid.
PC Stacey Caddick, of the NPT, said "This is a warning to people involved in the use or sale of drugs.
"This behaviour will not be tolerated and offenders will be brought to justice with the help of the local communities."
