Nominate a council employee

TIME is running out to nominate the council worker who has made a difference over the past year.

Wakefield Council is now accepting nominations for the People’s Choice Award as part of its annual Pride Awards.

Nominations should include a 500-word statement explaining why you have chosen the individual employee or team and how they have gone out of the way to help.

Joanne Roney, chief executive, said: “We want to continue to recognise the commitment of staff who do their very best for our residents in these difficult times.”

Nomination forms are available from.wakefield.gov.uk and at council libraries and markets. They should be returned to Pride Awards, FREEPOST NEA5394, Room 8, Town Hall, Wood Street, Wakefield WF1 2BR by Friday, February 10.
