New youth sessions

A NEW youth support scheme is starting in South Kirkby.

The sessions are being held by SESKU Academy, based at Burntwood Community Centre, on Church Top.

There will be a variety of activities on offer for the youngsters, including a games room, pool table, as well a number of other sports and art.

Adam Redfern, manager of the academy said: “All sessions are open to any young person wishing to attend.

“Young people will gain important life skills and learn new skills whilst getting the chance to meet new friends.”

They take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There is also a session at Weston Hall on Fridays.

The sessions are aimed at 7-11 year olds and 12-18 year olds.

Contact Mr Redfern on 01977 649424 for more information.
