Murder accused in court

A MAN and a woman have appeared in court charged with the murder of a seven-week-old baby.

Lee Michael Davison, 28, and Jessica Marie Hopkinson, 18, both of Ashleigh Avenue, Pontefract, appeared before Pontefract Magistrates Court this morning (April 16) each charged with the murder of infant Krystal Davison.

The defendants spoke only to confirm their names, ages and address during the short hearing.

There was no application for bail and they both remain in custody to appear before Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday (April 18).
