Funeral set for Upton's Rifleman Luke Farmer
THE funeral of Upton Rifleman Luke Farmer is to be held at Wakefield Cathedral on Friday.
Rifleman Farmer was killed while on foot patrol in Afghanistan on January 15.
The service will start at 10am but mourners are asked to be in their seats for 9.30am.
The funeral procession will leave Luke's house, on Third Avenue, at 8.45am and will go through Upton to the War Memorial on Harewood Lane before setting off for the cathedral.
