FRIENDS and family of a woman who donated every single one of her organs after she died are holding a charity night in her memory.

Louise Tredgold-Gee, of Mill Lane, South Kirkby, was just 34 when she died after suffering from three strokes due to a blood clot in her brain in September.

The loving mum-of-three gave up all of her organs, including her eyes, to help others in need.

Her friends and family have decided to hold the event to raise cash for the Donor Family Network in recognition of her generosity.

Her mum, Pauline Gee, of Dunsley Terrace, South Kirkby, said: “If anyone wanted anything doing she was there. She was such a caring person.”

Her heart has helped an 11-year-old, and her lungs were given to a 21-year-old.

Mrs Gee said: “It is an amazing feeling to know she has helped others. And that is why I felt in my heart I wanted to do something for the charity because they have been fantastic.”

Friend of ten years, Lorraine Swift, of Manor Grove, South Kirkby, said: “Louise was such a warm and loving person.

“The fact she donated all of her organs just showed how much she cared for others. It was such a generous thing to do.”

Miss Tredgold-Gee had just got engaged and made a living as a hairdresser.

She lived in South Kirkby all of her life and had three children, Shannon Louise Sykes, Katie Anne Sykes and Anthony Michael Gee.

The event takes place at Common Road Social Club, known as the ‘Raff’, in South Kirkby, on Friday, November 25. It starts at 7pm.

Another friend, Roxanne Powers will be singing at the event, and there will also be a raffle and tombola.

Entry is by donation and children are welcome.
