Children create dream home

Northfield Priamry School kids have taken part in competiton to design a show home with mini versions - Persimmon homes judged and winners announced.

INSPIRED youngsters got to work on creating their very own perfect home.

More than 20 children took part in Northfield Primary School’s competition, which was in conjunction with Persimmon Homes, as they have a new development being built opposite the school.

The creative children designed and created their ideal home out of shoe boxes and included lots of fun things, such as swimming pools, games, play rooms,

Harry Goodall, eight, Lewis Chaplin, seven, Libby Parosn, six, and Millie Goodall, three, were crowned winners for their designs by Persimmon Homes’ regional contracts manager.

They each won a book token and were given hard hat and vest.

They also will go on a visit to meet the interior designers for Persimmon Homes.

Jane Walton, key stage one co-ordinator, and teacher at the South Kirkby school, said: “There were some really great designs, and were all very modern.

“I wish I could live in them.”
