Cannabis factory found in Hemsworth home

Police are appealing for information about a large cannabis factory discovered at a Hemsworth property on Tuesday night.

Officers went to a house in Victoria Street at 10.48pm after receiving reports of a burglary taking place.

No-one was in the property but police found the cannabis factory, as well as an air rifle and a crossbow in a garden shed.

Police are appealing for information about the cannabis factory and want anyone who saw a car leaving Victoria Street at high speed at around 10.48pm on Tuesday to come forward.
