Motorcyclist and pedestrian suffered serious injuries in collision

A motorcyclist and pedestrian were taken to hospital with serious injuries after colliding in South Kirkby.

The crash happened on July 17 at around 9.35pm on White Apron Street.

PC Ryan Burts, said: “This was a serious collision and both people involved suffered serious injuries.

“We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision itself or saw the motorcyclist prior to the collision taking place to come forward to help with our investigation.”

The motorbike involved was a Honda CBF 125 which crashed into the pedestrian, who was thought to be crossing the road near to the T-junction.

They were then taken to hospital.
