Hemsworth girl gets top musical part

Dancing queens Charlotte Burnley and Molly Alston have waltzed off with parts in a top musical production.

The pair – who started dance lessons when they were toddlers – have been given roles in West Riding Theatre Company’s forthcoming production of Annie at Wakefield Theatre Royal.

Molly, 14, of Conisborough Way, Hemsworth, pictured right, has been given the role of Pepper while Charlotte, 12, of Houndhill Lane in Purston, will play a dancing orphan in the hit show.

The girls both attend G-Force Dance Academy in Ackworth and are students at The King’s School, Pontefract.
