Allsorts of activities will be going on in Pontefract as part of its annual Liquorice Festival.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a number of workshops, such as puppet-making, face painting, a liquorice-themed jewellery-making workshop, a portrait sideshow, the imagination gaming workshop and Noodle Doodle sweeties.
Entertainment will be provided by street performers, including Dame Lucy Liquorice, French waiters, the Liquorice Ladies and balloon modelling stilt walkers and there will also be children’s rides, stalls and food.
The festival takes place on Sunday July 13, from 10am to 4pm, with activities on offer at a number of venues across the town. The festival is still open for applications from traders.
