Kitchen fitter Craig Darren Wadsworth, 26, died from multiple injuries in the accident on September 11 last year.

Wakefield Coroners Court heard Mr Wadsworth, of Stanhope Gardens, Barnsley, lost control of his Peugeot 206 while driving home from work and collided with a Kia taxi.

The inquest heard both cars were doing between 40 and 45mph in a 60mph zone on the B6422.
