Almost 100 cannabis plants were discovered after a police raid at a house in South Elmsall.
Officers from the South Kirkby neighbourhood police team (NPT) found 96 plants at a house off High Street on Monday, October 21.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis. They were released on police bail while investigations continue.
Insp Geoff Carter, from the NPT, said: “This is the largest cannabis farm we have found in the south east, at least in the last year and a half while I have been here. The search was carried out as a result of community intelligence. We will follow up on any information we receive from the public in relation to drugs.”
Anyone who has any information about drug crime should call the NPT on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
