Hair today, gone tomorrow for South Kirkby youngster

It was a case of hair today, gone tomorrow for South Kirkby youngster Kieran Bartrop who had his beloved ponytail chopped off to raise cash for causes close to his heart.

The 11-year-old, from Park Estate, has been growing his ponytail since he was four but decided to have it cut off to raise funds for the Prince of Wales Hospice, the under 11s team at Upton Rugby Club and the Superflex Fitness Gym in Upton.
