Frickley Athletic manager Lee Morris has added another three players to his squad as he looks to get the team up the Evo-Stik Premier League.
The Blues have signed two players, Jamie Green and Sam Colbear, and brought in Shiraz Khan on loan.
Centre-back Colbear follows Morris from his previous club, Goole, having had a short spell at Ossett Town recently. Goalkeeper Green has had several spells with the club before. He has added to the club’s keeping roster as number one Sebastian Malkowski has been carrying a knock and the Blues want to give him time to repair properly rather than rushing him back.
Morris, meanwhile, has used his friendship with FC Halifax Town manager Billy Heath to bring in Shiraz Khan on loan for a month. The right-winger previously played for Bradford City’s academy.
All three new players went straight into the squad for Frickley’s trip to Sutton Coldfield last Saturday and are in contention for this Saturday’s next league game, at home to leaders Buxton (kick-off 3pm).
The Blues are also in action next Wednesday away to Corby Town (7.45pm).
