Featherstone firm Linpac Packaging has named Prince of Wales Hospice as its charity of the year for 2013.

It has started its year of support by donating £600, following fundraising by staff.

Mark Reynolds, group HSHE and energy manager at Linpac, said: “We’ve always supported the hospice as much as we can, but we wanted to do even more in the community and working closer seemed like the perfect way to do it.”

Rachel Warburton, corporate fundraiser at the hospice said: “Linpac Packaging has always been a great support to the hospice and we’re delighted it has chosen us as its charity of the year to help us even further. Fundraising at work can be a fantastic team builder.”
