For four months, the ceramic Tower of London poppies have sat in the picturesque grounds of Yorkshire Sculpture Park, each one honouring a fallen soldier from the First World War.

Thousands of people have paid a visit to see them and many have left touching tributes of their own.

The commemorative poppy sculptures are part of a UK-tour of the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red, designed by Tom Piper and created by Paul Cummins, which was installed at the Tower of London last year. People have one last chance to see them, as Poppies: Wave remains on display at the park’s lower lake until Sunday.
