Featherstone Rovers boss Jon Sharp has confirmed that the club is in talks to sign two possible players to add to their squad for 2017.
Sharp wants two more players to take his first team squad up to 24 players and to create some extra competition for places in the starting line-up in next year’s Championship.
He would not confirm names, but a half-back and a back row forward are where Rovers are looking to strengthen.
Sharp said: “We are still active in the market, we are still looking for one or two players.
“We are currently at 22 and we want just want a couple more in there just to give the squad some strength in depth.
“We’ve got some players in mind. We are talking at the minute. “Hopefully we will have someone in soon and they can join the other players in pre-season.”
