Youngsters from Ryhill J&I School buried three time capsules to mark the school’s centenary.

Emma Jones, headteacher of the Chapel Street school, said: “The children put everything from Haribo sweets to photographs and a copy of the Express into the capsules. We’re hoping pupils will dig up the capsules in another 100 years.
